Our passionate Collections & Retention Team is on the lookout for an energetic and driven Collections Agent to help us keep making a difference in our members' lives!
What we are looking for:
• Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
• At least 1–2 years' experience in a collections or call centre role (insurance industry a big plus!)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a solutions-driven mind-set
• Computer literacy (Excel, CRM systems, etc.)
• FAIS/RE5 compliant? That’s a bonus!
• Knowledge of the insurance industry, and POPIA would be a major advantage
• Goal-oriented and motivated by achieving targets
• Resilient, professional, and unshaken by a challenging call
• A natural people person with great phone etiquette
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to grow with us!
What will be to your advantage?
• Experience in Collections , Billing or Retentions
• Bilingual
What we expect from you:
• Contact policyholders with outstanding premiums via phone, email, or SMS
• Negotiate and arrange payment plans in line with company policies
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all collection efforts
• Hit your monthly targets while keeping things legal and customer-friendly
• Collaborate with customer service and finance teams to resolve client queries
• Monitor delinquent accounts and escalate non-payments where necessary
• Ensure all activities comply with FAIS, POPIA, and internal procedures
